Ginkgo biloba is the world’s oldest living species of tree with individual trees living as long as 4,000 years. Ginkgo means “silver apricot” and refers to the apricot-like bodies the tree produces which technically are not fruits but seeds. Biloba means “two lobed” exemplifying the unique fan-shaped leaves of these trees.¹

The first recorded use of the Ginkgo biloba tree dates back hundreds of years to traditional Chinese texts.²

Modern research on the active constituents in Ginkgo leaves started in the 1960s and has continued through to today. ³

The leaves of the Ginkgo biloba tree are rich in phytonutrients. Plants produce phytonutrients for protection against photosynthetic stress, pathogens, and other threats. Phytonutrients can have a beneficial effect on human health as well.⁴ Our formula is standardized to contain 24% Ginkgo flavone glycosides and 6% terpene lactones, the active constituents found in the Ginkgo leaves. SUGGESTED USE: For adults, take one (1) softgel two times daily, or as directed by a physician.
